This particular picture is of a tree growing on a mountain. Ordinary objects such as a tree on a hill looking as thought it would fall with a landslide representing a greater idea is the general way of the Misty Poets. But in this case with the Misty Poets, the tree will represent the people and the fruits could symbolize the hopes and history that the change in government took away. There can only be so much that a people can endure before they fall down. As the poetry movement takes place in China the group could be thinking about the ideals that the Chinese government represents. Currently there are many factories throughout the country that cut down trees and create pollution. The people in turn are forced to perform repetitive tasks that cut them down into lifelessness in the assembly lines. There is also the firewall system in China that supposedly prevents people from viewing many internet sites. The county is also trying to make Chinese more widespread on the internet instead of the English that seems to be used worldwide. These factors may contribute to the fall of the people as they struggle with the restrictions in the country before something drastic occurs.
